CLEOPATRA AND HER LEADERSHIP

Through their actions Cleopatra, changed Egypt by learning the language of her country, made allies by any means to better her people, and her knowledge of politics helped her run her country better. This all resulted in Cleopatra being the most famous female ruler in history.

Cleopatra had a troubled and productive life. Her family ruled over Egypt for more than 100 years! They were the last of the Ptolemaic dynasty when cleopatra assume the thrown when she was 18, but she was to rule with her brothers. Also her son for 3 decades.

Cleopatra was born in Alexandria, Egypt 69 BCE and died in 30 BCE. The rule of her family was notorious. Although she went through hard ships and had a tragic life, along with her family. She showed her people how strong she was and proved her family ruled best over Egypt.

The line of rule was established in 323 BCE. Following that, the death of Alexander the Great which resulted in the annexation of Egypt in Rome 30 BCE.

Her father was King Ptolemy XII, her mother wasn't known well in history. On the other hand her father was a great ruler. When he passed in 51 BC, he left the thrown to 18 year old cleopatra and her 10 year old brothers. Their family background in regards to their race is unknown. Historians believe she was possibly native. But no one knows for sure.

One thing that surprised me was that she was exiled by both of her brothers, but was reinstalled as the queen with the help of the Roman Army.

Cleopatra was also believed to have owners of seduction with her beauty and her body. They say she used these powers to help Egypt. By having an affair with Caeser to use his army to help her country. She also had an affair with Antony and they had two children together. WOW!!

In conclusion her life has become one of the most famous Shakespeare plays and books. She has become so famous in the present times. Her time of leadership as one of the best leaders of Egypt.
