Clark Planetarium Thank You

Published on Nov 22, 2015

Clark Planetarium thank you presentation for coming to our school.

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

THANK YOU CLARK PLANETARIUM

FROM: DZEVAD P. AND CHARLIE A.

As a thank you, we wanted to put together a presentation to show what we learned.

We learned that the sun is closest to Earth on
January, 4th.

Earth is tilted at a 23.5 degree angle.

We learned that the moon always has no more or less than half of it lit.

The phases of the Moon change because of the perspective we see on it.

We learned that you cannot imagine how big a light year is.

Betelgeuse is 642.5 light years away from earth.

One of our favorite things we learned was that we are so very small compared to other stars.

Another thing we learned is that Earth would still orbit normally if the sun was a black hole.

THANK YOU
