Civil War
The civil war started on April 12, 1861and ended on April 9, 1865. It all started when the confederates bombed fort sumpter. There were 9 confederate states and the rest that fought were union. Also some states didn't fight but most fought.

Boming of fort sumpter
Fort sumpter was bombed on April 12, 1861. The fort was bombed at around 2:00 - 2:30. Finally at 2:30pm Robert Anderson (the commander) surrendered the fort. The confederate had won the battle.
