PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Treble clef
A symbol located at the beginning of staff to indicate the upper pitches. It is called the "g clef" because the symbol curve around the second line of the staff.
Bass clef
A symbol located at the beginning of a staff to indicate the lower pitches. It is also called the "F clef" because the symbol curve around the fourth line of the staff.
Key signature
THE SHARPS OF FLATS LOCATED AT THE BEGINNING OF A PIECE TO INDICATE THE TONALLY
Time signature
A symbol placed at the left side of the staff to indicate the meter (number of beats per measure/which note get the beat)
