WHAT is Air Pollution?

• the burning of fossil fuels that result in greenhouse gasses
• China has air pollution due to development of the country
• air pollution causes many problems and is negative
• Many people and animals are effected

• coal=main source of energy of China=burning of coal=A.P.
• huge population+technology=lots of vehicles on streets=A.P.
• huge population=lots of energy to support everyone

EFFECTS OF AIR POLLUTION IN CHINA

• In 2011, 260,000 children died b/c of A.P.
• over 600,000 people have asthma b/c of A.P.
• A.P.=temp. rise=global warming=acid rain
• global warming=massive fires+rainstorms
• fires burn down crops=harder to feed large popultion

What is China doing about this?
