  • Which is soon followed by the Yellow River

IMPORTANT CITIES AND ECONOMIC CENTERS (ALL LOCATED ON THE COAST)

  • 1.) Shanghai, an important financial, economic, and trading center
  • Due to its excellent port and location on the coast of the Pacific Ocean
  • 2.) Hong Kong, located on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, is a key area
  • Hong Kong has a large port, that costly nearly nothing to ship goods
  • 3.) Bejing, the capital city, is one of the most diverse areas of the world

MAJOR ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES AND EXPORTS

  • In 2010, China became the world's largest exporter
  • China's top three exports include technology, machinery, and clothing
  • Exports in 2010, reached an amount of 2.2 trillion dollars (U.S.)
  • The major agricultural export is foresty and fishing
  • China is filled with cities making the export of argiculture less than technology

MAJOR PROBLEMS

  • Due to a major economy of trade, there is less need for labor, which drops the employment %
  • China is filled with human trafficking and smuggling drugs
  • Illegal Drugs in China's economy is also a major problem
  • Refugees and internally distressed people are extremely high in China
  • Pollution and air quality is a key problem in China because of the trade industries
