  • A minute part of matter

  • The amount of mass and volume in a specific area

  • When a liquid becomes a solid because it lost its heat

Melt/Melting

  • When something that is a solid becomes a liquid because heat energy is used on it

Condense/Condensation

  • When something thatt is a gas becomes a liquid

  • When a liquid changes to a gas because of heat

  • A mixture you get from when one substance disolves into the other

  • To mix one substance consistently into another substance at the particle level

  • A substance that dissolves in a solvent to form a solution

Solvent

  • A substance which a solute dissolves to form a solution

Saturation

  • An extent to which something is dissolved or absorbed compared with the maximum possible, usually expressed as a percentage.

Dilution

  • Reducing the concentration by the addition of water or a thinner.
