The Camp
- When was it made? Started the murders on December 8, 1941.
- Who was in charge? SS General Wilhelm Koppe was in charge.
- Where was it located? The village of Chelmno (Germany),
- is located about 30 miles northwest of Lodz along the Ner River,
- a tributary of the Warta River in today’s west central Poland.
The camp
