Favorite quote- When Tess Carroll's father died this is the quote that he wanted engraved on his grave stone because the thought that it had a good meaning to it. "Trust your heart if the seas catch fire live by love though the stars walk backward"(Sherwood 90)". This quote tells you to always follow what you believe no matter what anyone tells you if it's good or bad that's your choice to make not any one else's.

Favorite event-My favorite event of the novel is when Charlie see's Florio the man that saved him when he got into the car crash. Florio wants to let go because he see's his family hurting and he wants to let go so he asks Charlie to watch over his family as a favor.

Literary devices-
Metaphor- "trust your heart if the seas catch fire live by love though the stars walk backward"(Sherwood 90)the seas are not really catching fire so it would be a metaphor.

Imagery
I can imagine the two boys with the chicken pox and the third with a busted arm. "The two kids with the chicken pox and the third with a busted arm" (Sherwood 73)
