  • The kids learn that people will say what they say
  • A mockingbird is a symbol for innocence and purity
  • Therefore killing one is a sin and you kill innocence 
  • There's more to people then meets the eye

  • Don't underestimate people
  • Sometimes people won't agree with your point of view
  • Honor and courage are more about humility not pride
  • Don't brag about others or yourself
  • Mockingbirds are a symbol for innocence (dont kill innocence)
