  • variables that can contribute towards a person's personality, attitude, or lifestyle
  • warm weather leads people to be active

ethnic persecution

  • persecution of a certain race or ethnicity
  • many muslims have been persecuted since the events of 9/11

religious persecution

  • persecution based on ones religion
  • many jews were persecuted against during the world wars

  • abiotic and biotic factors that affect ones life
  • hurricanes can bring destruction that make living more difficult

physical barriers

  • things that are presented as obstacles to people with disabilities
  • for people in wheelchairs a set of stairs is a physical barrier

  • the lack of succcesful potato crops being produced in ireland from 1845-1849
  • many people were without enough money because the potatos served as an income source for farmers

poverty

  • when one lacks the basic necessities for life
  • many people become impoverished when they lose their house or cant afford food
