How can you get chancroid?
You can get chancroid by a sexual transmission. Also by touching someone that has an open source.

What type of infection is it?

Chancroid is cause by a bacteria name haemophilus ducreyi.

What symptoms does it has on chancroid?
For male they may have one ulcer of this parts foreskin,grove behinds he penis head,haft of the penis,head of the penis,opening of the penis,and the scrotum.

What symptoms does it has on females?
A female May have 4 to more ulcer on the outer lips most known as the major labia. Kissing ulcer may also develop. this are ulcers that occur in the opposite labia.

What is the treatment for chancroid?
Chancroid is easily treated with antibiotics. The infection will clear up on its own; however, this takes many months and can be painful to endure.

What happens if it let untreated?

Can spread to sex partners.
Makes it easier to transmit or acquire HIV during sex.
Can cause destruction of foreskin tissue on penis.
Sores can become infected with other germs.

Can it be cure?
Yes. But You can get chancroid again if you have sex with an infected partner.

How could STI affect my social life?
It could affect in a lot of things. It could affect can cause feelings of shame, anger, and embarrassment.

How does chancroid could affect my health?
It could affect a lot because one is that I would never going to be the same person knowing I had this disease by not using this protection. Also because knowing of just 10 or more minutes with someone this disease would take month or even years to disappear or it could cause a dangerous disease.

How can you prevent a transmission of a STI?
Stop having sex until you see a doctor and are treated.
Follow your doctor's instructions for treatment.
Use condoms whenever you have sex, especially with new partners.
Don't resume having sex unless your doctor says it's OK.
Return to your doctor to get rechecked.

How common is it? Is their a common age group it affect the most?
The infection is found mainly in developing and third world countries. Very few people are diagnosed in the United States each year with this infection. Most people in the U.S. who are diagnosed with chancroid have traveled outside the country to areas where the infection is more common.
People of 25 to 35 are in more risk to have this disease
