City hall represents the nucleus. Within the nucleus there can be found the DNA responsible for giving the cell its unique characteristics. Just like the city hall the nucleus makes the cell or city what it is.

The power plant represents the mitochondria. The mitochondria provides the cell or city with energy to move,separate,and contract,they are the source of power.
The wast management represents the lysosome. The lysosome contain hydrolytic enzymes necessary for intracellular digestion.

The factory's represents the ribosome. The ribosomes are packets of RNA and protein that are major for prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells.

The water tower represents the vacuole. The vacuoles in animals are normally small.the vacuole collects water so the turgor pressure doesn't drop.

The city limits represents the cell membrane. The cell membrane is found in every cell. A cell membrane has a double layer of phospholipids.
