Causes of WWII

• Germany lost WWI
• Germany was forced to sign the treaty of versallies
• Germany lost 1/6 of its territory
• Had to pay six million dollars for damage caused in the war

• Europe got involved by signing the German-soviet pact

• Germans invaded Poland 
• Germany took Austria and Czechoslovakia 
• Hitler thought he was able to take Poland  
• Hitler made Nazi-Soviet non agression pact
