CHARACTERS

• Katniss protagonist , Peeta, Joanna, Finnick, Beetee, Wiress, Gloss, Brutus,
• Eonbaria, Cashmere, Volts, Nuts, Cecelia, Chaff, and Mags. Are all victors
• that compete in the Games again. Portia, Venia, Flavius, Cinna, are all stylist.
• Haymitch is Peeta and Katniss's mentor.
• President Snow antagonist

CONFLICT

• The conflict is between Katniss and President Snow
• Katniss saved her fellow tribute in the GamesWhich gave hope to all the districts.
• So she is a sign of revolt.
• President Snow is the head of the Capitol and is trying to stop the revolt and get rid of Katniss.

PLOT SUMMARY

• Katniss and President Snow have a big talk about everything bad she has done.
• Katniss and Peeta go on a victory tour for winning the Hunger Games.
• In the last district their own (district12) the have a big celebration in the mayor's house.
• The Capitol sends a bunch of peacekeepers down to district 12 to take over.
• Gale (Katniss's best friend) got in one's way.So they tied him to a pole and whipped him.

PLOT SUMMARY

• After that Katniss and Peeta decided to get married.
• But they had to postpone it after they found out that the 75th Games(a quarter quell) would choose 2 victors
• (1 boy and 1girl) from each district for the Games.
• After the victors were chosen they went to the Capitol to train.
• When she was shooting the bow most everybody gathered and watched her.

PLOT SUMMARY

• So after watching her shoot almost everybody wanted to be her ally.
• She and Peeta teamed up with Finnick, (the youngest winner ever)
• and Mags.
• When the Games were about start and Katniss was in the elevator going into the Games Cinna was killed.
• The Games started and many people died trying to get things from the cornucopia.

PLOT SUMMARY

• When they were trying to sleep poisonous fog came and was chasing them.
• Mags sacrificed herself and went into the fog so Finnick, Peeta, and Katniss could keep moving.
• Right after they escaped the fog a heard of monkey's attacked them but everybody survived.
• Once they reached the cornucopia and found Johanna, Beetee, and Wiress they all became allies.
• Wiress figured out that the beach was a clock. So they new where the next disaster would happen.

• Beetee has a spool of special wire and when they find a tree that lightning strikes repeatedly.
• They tie the spool of wire to the tree and they took the wire down to the beach so it would electrocute
• anything in its path
• But it went wrong
• Katniss tied the wire to her bow and when the lightning struck she let the arrow go and destroyed the games

PLOT SUMMARY

• Then the hovercraft from district 13 comes and gets her , Beetee, and Finnick
• Haymitch tells her about the rebellion and how district 3, 4, 6, 7, 8and 11
• She wakes up to Gale beside her he tells her there is no district 12 it's destroyed
• And they now live in district 13
