Uses leadership skills to influence others
There is always a captain on a soccer team. This is the leader of the team.

Engages in effective problem solving process
During halftime my soccer team talks about the first half and how it went.

Understands budgeting
Soccer is a very expensive sport
You need to pay for your club, uniform, cleats, socks, shinguards, soccer bag, and soccer ball.
What I do is buy cleats and shinguards and keep them for two to three years so I save money.
And for my soccer bag/ball I keep it until I really need a new one.
