EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • Degree in medicine, 2 years of foundation training, recive FPCC.
  • Pass exams for fellowship of FRCpath, recieve credits for CPD.
  • 6-8 week undergraduate camps and conferences

DUTIES AND DAILY TASKS

  • Average around 40 hours a week
  • Tasks include; examing and talking with patients, usuing diagnostic skills, preforming tests, interpreting tests, educating colleagues.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • Starting salary for junior hospital doctor roughly 45,000 per year (while still in trainng)
  • Qualified consultants salary rougly 95,000 rising to 238,000 or more yearly.
