  • You can find the element Silicon in computer chips!
  • Lead is used to block radiation and for plumbing.
  • Tin was once used to make cans but now has been replaced!

What is Lead?

  • Lead is bluish white metal, but it is soft.

  • Lead's symbol is Pb
  • Lead has an atomic number of 82 and an atomic mass of 207.2.
  • This metal has a density of 11.34g/cm^3, it will most likely sink!

Real World

  • Tetraethyl lead is used for gasoline.
  • As I said in the facts lead is used to block radiation.
  • Also for Plumbing!

  • I found it interesting that lead is metal but it is actually really soft.
  • Lead is actually toxic and can do harm to people.
