Very First Steps

  • Lay dog on his side
  • NO objects in mouth
  • Pull out dogs tongue so it dosen't block the airway

How To Begin

  • Wrap your hands around the dogs mouth
  • Breath small, and even breaths into your dogs nose

FINAL STEP

  • If you cant feel a pulse lay dog on its side
  • Place hands on either side of of dogs chest
  • Press down in even,steady beats

30-100 pound dogs compress chest 2 - 3 inches at a rate of 2 times per second.

for dogs 0 to 29 pounds you should compress about 1 inch at a rate of 2 times per second.
