Why to help cancer

  • It's a disease that kills many people   
  • People have loses while having cancer like no hair
  • it's a  world problem
  • Humans may no longer exist if it keeps spreading

Has having cancer affected you in any type of way? Yes,because I had to be in the hospital,which I was in for a few days each month.I couldn't go to preschool because I had just gotten finished with everything.
What type of cancer did you have?I had a brain tumor called ependymoma.Did your family support you?Duh, it is not like my mom let me in the hospital! Did you look on the bright side of things? I had no idea that I had cancer.I was only 3! Is there anything you would like to add? When I was in the hospital,I use to use a tape recorder to keep me calm.

Connie Adair's Interview: Is there more than one type of breast cancer? Yes. What type did you have? I had a breast cancer called Ductal Carcinoma. How did doctors cure it? I had to make appointments to see the doctor for surgery. What did it feel like to have cancer? It felt scary. Do you loose hair when you have cancer? You don't loose hair when you have cancer,it's the chemotherapys that make you loose your hair.I did loose my hair and it came back curly but I didn't use to have it curly! You never know how it's going to come back! Could you die from breast cancer? You can die from it if it spreads. Did your family support you? Yes, absolutely.Is there anything else you want to add? I found out I had cancer in April 23,2013 because I had to do a mammogram.Every woman has to do one.A mammogram is an x-ray exam of the breast that’s used to detect breast changes.One of the dates of a surgery I remember was May 20th,2013.The doctors cured my breast cancer in September 23,2013.

Does having cancer affect anything about your life? Yes,it affected my hair when I did chemotherapy.
What type of cancer do you have? I don't know. Does your family support you? Yes, my 3 brothers and both of my parents. Do you look on the bright side of things? Yes. Is there any other thing you want to add? I had to do surgerys and when I lost my hair it grew back the same.

We can also donate hair to locks of hearts!
Requirements...
Hair that is colored or permed is acceptable.
Hair that has been bleached is not usable. **If the hair was bleached years ago and has completely grown out it is fine to donate.
We cannot accept dreadlocks.
Layered hair is acceptable if the longest layer is 10 inches.
10 inches measured tip to tip is the minimum length needed for a hairpiece.
