Camera Shots & Angles

LONG SHOT
A long shot shows the whole subject. A long shot shows the full human figure and the environment/settings.
MEDIUM SHOT
A Medium Shot shows the human body from mid-shin or mid-thigh.
CLOSE UP
A close up only shows one part of the subject, usually in great detail
HIGH ANGLE
A high angle shot is shot above eye-level and looking down.
EYE-LEVEL ANGLE
At eye level, the impression is neutral.
LOW ANGLE
A low angle is a camera shot taken below eye-level also looking up at the subject.
REVERSE ANGLE
A Reverse angle is when the photo is taken from the persons perspective.
OBLIQUE
An oblique angle is shot by tilting the camera frame diagonally,making the photo look askew.
