The scientific name of my plant is the Pinguicula Vulgaris.
It lives throughout the Northern Hemisphere.
The common butterwort grows in peat, sand, and perlite soil.
It grows in seasonal humid forests.
Its main prey are gnats, fruit flies, and springtails.
It ejects a sticky fluid that attracts unsuspecting insects.
How long it takes to digest its prey is unknown.
It is threatened by the loss of habitat.
It blossoms in June and July.
It can grow up to 1-16 inches.
