• Bud is a lonely child
• He has no mother she died and he was put in a children's home

• Bud's antagonist is his parents that adopted him and there older son

• Bud meets an older man and he becomes an antagonist for a little bit

• The setting is the 1900's

CLIMAX

• The climax is when Bud figues out that he found his mom's dad
• When Bud showed Mr.Calloway the rocks and he freaks out

FALLING ACTION

• The falling action is when they MAKE sure Bud isn't lying
• It turns out Bud Mr.Calloway's grandson

• It's a sad but heartwarming book
• If your'e in to drama you should really read this book
• I also love the author Christopher Paul Curtis
• I love how the author makes everything seem so realistic
