The BT 80 mms is the uk armed forces parachute of choice, it is used by our special forces out of Hereford.
What makes it a multi mission system? It can easily be converted from a static line opening to deployed from a free fall scenario.
The main is a 420 sq ft 9 cell cross port vented canopy with a zero porosity double skin construction. With a reserve canopy made of the same construction, but can only be deployed a maximum of two times. We keep a streamlife in the 715.
It is also HAHO and HALO capable.
