  • Women wore knee length skirts(wool,deerskin or shredded bark
  • Men wore a breech cloth in the summer(small covering made from red-cedar bark or deerskin)
  • In the winter they wore shirts and leggings
  • Women’s cloths were made from full raw animal skins with fur were worn

  • They had a potlach which was a ceremonial feast with food,dancing and gift giving

  • They're well known for their carved totem poles and masks
  • Coast salish use trigon,crescent,oval,and u-shapes in their art
