This is a presentation about Bill Breedlove, the founder of Breedlove's Sporting Goods and Printing.

Breedlove's Timeline

  • 1973- First service by himself with help of his father, using heat sealing equipment to put names and numbers on clothing
  • 1979- Purchased screen printing equipment to do his own in house printing production
  • 1980- Purchased first embroidery machine
  • 1981- First industrial sewing machine, used for sewing tackle twill lettering.
  • 1982- Started to add staff to the business.
  • 1989- First automatic screen printer, and also moved from basement to first floor at 215 West 2nd Street.
  • 1990- Purchased Old City Furniture building at 107 North Tremont (Currently Breedlove's Printing).
  • 1990- Added 2 four-head embroidery machines.
  • 1992- Added a second automatic screen printer. Also continued to add employees to the business.
  • 1994- Added an additional dryer to make 2 dryers. Servicing one auotmatic and 4 manual printers.
  • 1995- Complete trophy line operation established.
  • 1996- Full time art department established
  • 2000- Banners and signs business
  • 2003- Added sandblasting service
  • 2010- Laser engraving
  • 2015- Working staff of 25 employees.

Interesting Fact

  • Bill Breedlove lived and worked in the basement at 215 West 2nd Street (Old Print Store) which is still being used to this day for additional printing space and production. He lived and worked in that basement for 10 years all the while creating his business. He would work very long hours down their everyday. Until he soon moved to the upstairs of the building and then expanded to the what is now the main print store.
