• Doc gets shot in the spinal cord but sadly died

• We pulled our troops out just as the NVA captured south Veitnam.
• It was a mess the US tried to take as many south Veitamies outa Veitnam.
• It was a desperate act to save democracy.

I THINK IM MOST LIKE PATRICK

• Because he went to war thinking it was good, but not so much.
• I've thought The army / navy / marines should get involved in wars but I was wrong .

In this story first Patrick gets a little blue book to Write about his adventures in Nam.Then Patrick Goes through basic training in Virgina. Patrick Gets to nam and shortly after one of his Friends are blown up. I'm not going to say who for spoiler reasons. But then they encountered a Week long battle against the NVA. Wich is when Doc died.
Then the rest of the book is just him trying to settle down after that battle (most of the rest.)
But before that a Motor hit right near him but he had saved his leg. Patrick went back home and went to Collage in Boston. And played football.

A OCASION LIKE PATRICKS

• I was playing paintball and me and some buddies were pined
• Down in a shipping crate we eventally came out and faked a surender
• Then came back and shot them all.

FAVORITE PART OF THE BOOK

• Is when Patrick is mowing down the NVA with an m60 machine gun.
• It's not really cool but he is brave for doing so.

LEAST FAVORITE PART IS

• when Patrick got hurt from a NVA mortor.
• This war Was the tuffest war the U.S.A. has faced.
