• Body surf near lifeguards, especially when first learning

HOW TO SURFING

• Get out into the water and watch where the waves break
• Get used to diving under or swimming over waves
• Start swimming hard when a wave starts to crest just before it reaches you

FUN WAY

• Have fun and do your best to follow good surf etiquette
• when the wave picks you up, to try to keep your self straight

• Try to find a friend or family member who already knows how to do this
