- Ever heared a quiet, slithering sound of a garden snake? Imagine that, but much larger. Thats a boa constrictor.

BOA DESCRIPTION
- They are very long. As long as 13 feet!
- They have no eyelids, so their eyes are always open.
- Most boas are nocturnal.
- They are very heavy, up to 100 pounds!
- They are a reptile.
BOA HABITAT
- Some boas are native to South America.
- Other boas live in Central America.
- Some boas live as north as Canada.
- They like moist rainforests.
- Some live in grasslands.

- They have an instinct to hide.
- They are warm blooded.
- They have scales to help them move.
- They live about 30 years.
- They are a carnivore.
