WANT MORE CLIENTS?

BNI NETWORK EDUCATION
Good morning BNI!
We all want to grow our businesses — and getting new clients is key. But “just getting more clients” isn’t a strategy.
So today, let’s talk about how to effectively attract new clients by being more strategic, more consistent, and more referable.

Know Exactly Who You Want

  • Ask yourself: • Who is your ideal client? Be specific. • What problem do they have that you solve? • What’s going on in their life when they need you?
If you don’t know who you’re trying to attract, no one can help you find them.

Instead of “anyone who needs insurance,” say:

“I help first-time homebuyers protect their new investment with affordable coverage.”

🎯 The more specific you are, the easier it is for people to refer you.

Make Your Message Repeatable

  • You need a repeatable message: • Clear • Simple • Focused on the client’s problem, not your product
People won’t refer you unless they know how to describe you.

✅ Instead of saying,

“We do comprehensive IT solutions,”
Say:
“We help small business owners sleep better by making sure their computers don’t crash and lose everything.”

📣 Make it so easy that a 12-year-old could repeat it.

Be Visible & Valuable

  • People do business with those they: 1. Know 2. Like 3. Trust

  • Here’s how to build that: • Post helpful tips online that solve real problems (not just ads) • Share client stories in your presentations • Show up consistently — at BNI, in 1-1s, and in your network
To attract more clients, you don’t need to shout louder — you need to be clearer, more consistent, and more referable.

Start by:
• Defining your ideal client
• Making your message repeatable
• Being valuable to your network

Let’s be more than professionals — let’s be magnets.
Thanks, and let’s go help each other grow!
