VICTIMS

  • Joseph Traynor.
  • Daniel carol.

To understand the layout of Croke park we need to take a look at the deaths.

Croke park is a huge stadium, but it wasn’t always this way.

It was much smaller, and less tall.

But still could hold a lot of people.

Now let’s take a look at the victims of that frightful day.

Two boys were climbing trees outside Croke park.

Sadly they were both shot, one in the shoulder, the other in the face.

Another boy was shot and he was taken away to a house next to a river were he was pronounced dead.

So when we put the proof together it shows the Black and Tans went to the front entrance, then went a round to the trees to find the boys.

Then for some cruel reason they shot the boys, they made there way back to the entrance to shoot other people, avoiding the river area.

They won’t be forgotten anytime soon as we remember them as it is the anniversary of there death.

NEVER FORGET...

To commemorate the centenary on the 21/11/2020 Tipperary team wore the original jersey that they wore in 1920.
