The Cytoplasm is like the environment because everything is contained in it.

CELL MEMBRANE

IT REGULATES WHAT ENTERS AND LEAVES THE CELL AND PROTECTS AND SUPPORTS THE CELL.
The cell membrane is like the boundaries of a city because it is the border of the cell and protects the cell.

RIBOSOME

RIBOSOMES ASSEMBLE PROTEINS.
Ribosomes are like a factory because they are part of assembling the proteins, like a factory assembles their products.

NUCLEUS

THE NUCLEUS IS THE CONTROL CENTER OF THE CELL.
The nucleus is like the city hall because that is where the mayor is, who is in charge of everything else, just like how the nucleus is the control center of the cell.

CELL WALL

THE CELL WALL IS THE ADDITIONAL SUPPORT TO THE CELL THAT ONLY PLANTS HAVE.
The cell wall is like a border wall because it provides structure, support, and protection to the wall, like how a border wall provides structure to different countries.

SMOOTH ER

THE SMOOTH ER IS INVOLVED IN THE SYNTHESIS OF MEMBRANE LIPIDS AND THE DETOXIFICATION OF DRUGS.
The smooth ER is like a trash truck because it detoxifies drugs, like how a trash truck cleans up our trash.

ROUGH ER

ROUGH ER CONTAINS RIBOSOMES THAT MAKE LARGE AMOUNTS OF PROTEINS.
The rough ER is like a port because it produces large amounts of protein for export, like how a port exports different products.

GOLGI APPARATUS

IT MODIFIES, SORTS, AND PACKAGES PROTEINS.
The Golgi apparatus is like a post office because a post office packages, ships, and sorts the different mail they get, like how the Golgi apparatus packages, ships, and sorts proteins.

LYSOSOMES

LYSOSOMES CLEAN UP THE CELL AMD GET RID OF THE OLD ORGANELLES.
The lysosomes are like a recycling center because a recycling center recycles old and worn out things into usable materials, which is what the lysosomes do by turning old organelles into useful materials.

VESICLES

VESICLES STORE AND MOVE MATERIALS.
Vesicles are like a UPS truck because a UPS truck stores and delivers packages, like how a vesicle stores and moves different materials around the cell.

CENTRAL VACUOLE

VACUOLES STORE MATERIALS LIKE WATER, SALTS, PROTEINS, AND CARBOHYDRATES.
Vacuoles are like warehouses because warehouses store packages like how vacuoles store materials for the cell.

CHLOROPLAST

CHLOROPLASTS CAPTURE THE ENERGY FROM SUNLIGHT AND CONVERT IT INTO FOOD THAT CONTAINS CHEMICAL ENERGY.
Chloroplasts are like solar panels because solar panels capture the sun's energy and turn it into power, like how the chloroplasts capture the sun's energy and turn it into food.

FLAGELLA

FLAGELLA PRODUCES MOVEMENT FOR THE CELL IN A WAVELIKE MOTION FOR A PROTIST.
The flagella are like the propellor on a boat because the propellor on a boat moved the boat, like how the flagella move the cell.

CYTOSKELETON

THE CYTOSKELETON HELPS THE CELL MAINTAIN ITS SHAPE.
