Explanation on black holes

PRESENTATION OUTLINE

BLACKHOLES

BY JAMES DENEVAN

A black hole is a mathematically defined region of spacetime exhibiting such a strong gravitational pull that no particle or electromagnetic radiation can escape from it.

Scientists can't directly observe black holes with telescopes that detect x-rays, light, or other forms of electromagnetic radiation. We can, however, infer the presence of black holes and study them by detecting their effect on other matter nearby.

Scientist have just found a Blackhole that is 12 billion times more massive that the Sun and formed 9 million years after the big bang.
