What is a black hole?

A Black Hole is a killer of light. Black holes are regions in space where the gravitational pull is so strong it sucks in any light around it.

A Black Holes Creation

Black Holes are created when matter is pushed into a tiny space. Some are also created after the death of a star.

  • Once light goes into a black hole it can't escape. That is why black holes are invincible.
  • Black holes are some of the biggest things in space. A couple months ago scientist found a black hole which is 12 billions times bigger then our sun.

  • There are three different sizes scientist gave black holes. But scientist find new sizes every day.

Astronomers have found convincing evidence for a supermassive black hole in the center of our own Milky Way galaxy. Scientists have suspected this black hole by studying the speed of the clouds of gas orbiting those regions.
