BLACK HOLES

BY: ASHTON LAMOTTE

BLACK HOLES ARE LIFE'S MOST MYSTERIOUS THINGS

THEY DEFY THE RULES OF SPACE AND TIME

Black holes are not really holes at all.they are the opposite of empty.black holes have the most matter stuffed into the least space of any objects in the universe.

Black holes have three main parts
the outer layer which you could escape from called the outer event horizon. Second layer which is very very hard to escape from which is called the inner event horizon. The center which is called the singularity which is impossible to escape from.

Black holes are shaped like a sphere and can spin and some black holes have nonstellar origins.

There are different types of black holes:mini black holes, stellar mass black holes, intermediate mass black holes, and supermassive black holes

The largest black holes are called supermassive.supermassive black holes have masses that are more than1,000,000 Suns together.scientists have proof that every large galaxy contains a supermassive black hole in its center.

MONSTER BLACK HOLE IS THE LARGEST AND THE BRIGHTEST EVER FOUND

The smallest black hole can be as small as an atom[or maybe smaller]but have the mass of a mountain.

A LIGHT YEAR IS ABOUT 6 TRILLION MILES.KEEP THAT IN MIND NOW

The closest black hole to earth is known as V4641 Sagittarii. At one point it was believed to be only 1,600 light years away; however, scientists later discovered that this measurement was inaccurate. In actual facts, V4641 Sagittarii is more like 24,000 light years away.

The supermassive black hole at the center of the Milky Way galaxy is called Sagittarius A.Sagittarius A is the 18th largest black hole.

When two galaxies collide, this makes a double black hole. This causes the two holes to orbit each other at incredible speeds of 4,000 kilometers per second.

Once in a black hole there's no goin back because you're going faster than the speed of light

Anything that goes into a black hole can't get out of it that's when you enter event horizon and you would have to move much much much faster than the speed of light to get out

A black hole has 10,000 G forces

John Michell was the first scientist to come up with the idea of a black hole in 1793, he thought there could be area with such strong gravity that light can't escape.in 1916 Albert Einstein rediscovered black holes from studying gravity

If you get sucked into a black hole (which nobody has) you're body would get shredded and stretched into the tiniest pieces.

Some black holes can send you into another dimension.for example the white hole pushes you back the way you came from instead of going deeper. Once you get out you're not in space anymore, you're in another dimension... Confusing huh?
