  • The biosphere is the regions of the surface, atmosphere and hydrosphere of the earth(or analogous parts of other planets)occupied by living organizms.

IMPORTANCE OF THE BIOSPHERE

  • If there was no biosphere there would be no life
  • The biosphere is made up of parts of the earth where life exists
  • The biosphere extends from the deepest root systems of trees, to the dark environment of ocean trenches, to lush rain forests and high mountain tops

INTERESTING FACTS

  • The biosphere is all living things. The biosphere is a global ecosystem that interacts with living organiziams and their relationships. The biosphere, we know today, has evolved for 3.5 billion years.
