WHAT IS A BIOCHIP?
It is much like a computer chip. It performs biological reactions. Reactions such as, decoding genes. A biochip has an exterior to which small strands of DNA are attached. Another name for biochips is DNA Microarrays.

THOSE AGAINST BIOCHIPS

• Intrusion to private information
• Genes may get disrupted
• Mind control

THOSE WHO SUPPORT BIOCHIPS

• Biochips are cheap
• Help find cancer treatments
• Track terrorists
• Find missing pets
• Detect genomic imbalances

3 REASONS WHY TO SUPPORT BIOCHIPS

• They are cheap, biochips help save time and decreases expenses in laboratories.
• They can help in medical/ health care advancements. Biochips can use bioinformatics to help find individualized medicine.
• They can help track missing pets and terrorists. Biochips can reveal DNA fingerprints, a type of restriction map.

3 REASONS OPPOSING MY STANCE

• Biochips intrude private information such medical records, social security, and health care.
• Biochips can make anomalies that are irresolvable, causing gene disruption.
• Biochips can cause mind control. Chemicals in biochips can affect thinking and thoughts.

I support biochips, because I think they will be the key to finding cures to multiple types of cancer. Biochips do not only help medically, but they can also protect the public and find the missing. Biochips may have some cons with its functions, but I believe that scientists will fix these problems.
