1st Amendment

The first amendment gave the freedom to talk whenever you want and go to any church you want.

2nd Amendment

The 2nd amendment gave you the right to own guns.

3rd Amendment

The 3rd amendment said that soldiers couldn't stay in people's houses during a time of peace.

4th Amendment

The 4th amendment says that police can't search you without permission.

5th Amendment

The fifth amendment says that you can not be forced to talk in court.

6th Amendment

The 6th amendment says that you have the right to a fast trial with a jury of people like yourself.

7th Amendment

The 7th amendment says that everyone has the right to a jury trial.

8th Amendment

The 8th amendment says you can't have cruel and unusual punishment.

9th Amendment

The 9th amendment says that everyone has certain rights that no one can take away.

10th Amendment

The 10th amendment says that the government can't come up with their own powers.
