Blessed are the poor in spirit

  • Being poor in spirit means that you are not happy. Rich people economically can be poor in spirit if they are unhappy. You can become rich in spirit by loving God.

BLESSED ARE THE ONES WHO MOURN

  • The ones who suffer are sad and need to be saved and comforted. They can be comforted with the love of God. Jesus cared for the ones who mourn.

“Blessed are the Meek”
The meek are the ones who are gentle and quiet. Be a meek person, be gentle, loving, and humble. Being meek is a hard job sometimes because it is way easier to be loud and inconsiderate but is worth it.

“Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness”
Some people lay back and let crime run its course but some want justice and that is what this beatitude means. Some people who want righteousness are lawyers because they fight for what they think is right. It is good for society to hunger and thirst for righteousness.

“Blessed are the merciful”
The merciful take pity on others and love one another. Jesus was merciful on his children and forgave them for all the sins they have committed. Be a merciful person because it helps you love others so they can love you back in return.

“Blessed are the clean of heart”
The clean of heart are represented as the innocent. They are pure in their thoughts and decisions and are the true image of God. Babies are the most innocent of all along with Jesus.

“Blessed are the peacemakers”
Jesus gave peace to the world such as some of us try to do. An examples of a peacemaker is Martin Luther king JR. he started a revolution of black rights that made this world a better place to live in. Everyone needs to aspire to be a peacemaker to make the world a better place.

“Blessed are the they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness”
This beatitude is an example of when saints are killed for preaching Gods words. Another example is black rights or LGBTQ plus rights, they are punished for speaking up. We need to love and support each other for what they believe and who they are.
