  • American forces seized Fort Ticonderoga, defeating the British.
  • Took place on May 10th, 1775.
  • Happened at Fort Ticonderoga in Ticonderoga, New York

BATTLE PLAN

  • 83 Green Mountain Boyz crossed the lake to Ticonderoga with Allen and Arnold
  • With the small amount of soldiers at hand, they sneak attacked the fort.
  • The battled ended with no deaths and a single injury

  • Benedict Arnold and Ethan Allen were the two American generals responsible for this successful battle
  • William Delaplace was the British commander that surrendered his sword to the patriots
