Using aircrafts, carrier boats, and battleships the Japanese seding a fleet of 35 aircrafts that would be shot down in an hour
The Japanese sent 2 more fleets with the majority of them being shot down quickly
The US went on the offensive seeking out Japans carriers and battleships and destroying them

CASUALTIES/DAMAGE
The US only lost 1 battleship and 123 aircrafts
Overall the Japanese had 2 carriers sunk, 2 oilers sunk and approximately 600 aircrafts destroyed
There is no record of the loss of soldiers
