  • Britian, France, and Belgium against Germany

REASONING BEHIND THE BATTLE

  • Germany began invading countries all over Europe
  • Belgium was the next to fall
  • Britain and France stepped in to help

WHAT HAPPENED IN THIS BATTLE?

  • Germany swept through Western Europe using Blitzkrieg
  • French and British couldn't stop them
  • German army trapped Britain and French armies on Dunkirk beaches
  • Admiral Ramsey, based in Dover, developed operation Dynamo

HOW DID THE BATTLE END?

  • Operation Dynamo- small baots were sent to rescue trapped soldiers
