PRESENTATION OUTLINE

GOALS SETTING, WANTS, NEEDS

I learned what a smart goal was, it is really helpful for me, because I was not good at making realistic goals. the steps are Specific, Measurable, Attainable,Realistic, Time bound. I want is something you want you don't need it to live. I need is something that is needed to live, like water or food.

MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES/LEARNING STYLE

My multiple intelligence is musical. I like clapping out syllables and reading out lyrics. My other one is intrapersonal, I like spending time with myself and thinking stuff over, also I learn my trail and error. My last multiple intelligence is kinesthetic, that means I like moving around, I can't stay still. Also go on walks and read everything I see.

My learning style is tactile modality. Do best while touching or feeling. I like taking notes for the sake of moving, I like to scan the material before I read it. Play music and shake my leg while doing work. The other one is auditory modality I like hearing stuff before I do it. I don't like reading stuff I would rather listen to someone saying it. My last learning style is visual. I usually remember something when I write it down on paper. I like lectures and watching someone do an example of something.

DATING

I learned what infatuation was. It is really common during teen years. Does not last long and relationship is often based off of physical traits. Teens think they are in love but it is usually infatuation. People usually date for socialization, recreation, mate selection. The love languages are affirmation, time, gifts, service, touch.

DECISION MAKING/SELF CONCEPT

I learned what the self-concept circle was. It goes As I see Myself, My actions , as others see me, others reaction to me. I am smart in school. I got a A on my math test. Others see as smart because I got highest score in class. Others were proud of me. I see
myself as smart. Some good self concept words are kind, loyal, funny, pretty, smart.

I learned a good decision making process. You identify the issue, list three possible ways to solve the problem, evaluate pros and cons, choose the best answer then act on it, then last evaluate results.

TIME AND STRESS MANAGEMENT

I learned good time management tips. Make a to do list everyday, use spare times wisely, get a good night sleep. If I use these tips I will be less stressed and have more time to get stuff done. Stress management- I learned flight or fight that means if you are in a bad situation you will either run away or fight. A few tips I learned was progressive muscle relaxation, breaking tasks into smaller pieces, rehearsing and practicing feared situations.

A profile of a rapist are usually in late teens through thirties, rapist are usually have gotten beaten or sexually abused thereself, and you usually know the person. There are 4 different types of rape, stranger rape 30% of all rapes in us, acquaintance not all of these are reported, martial rape very few are reported, gang rape it involes oral sex, and usually more then one assaulter. Some risk reductions are lock your car and windows and doors, meet new people in puplic places, always have keys ready, never walk alone at night.

COMMUNICATION

The 4 destructive horsemen are criticism(negative), contempt(sarcasm), defensiveness(blaming), stonewalling(tunes out). It takes 5 positive comments to make up for 1 negative comment. Good active listening skills are eye contact, nodding, and asking questions. Bad listening skills Are no eye contact, being distracted, and trying to talk about something else.

FINAL PARAGRAPH
I learned a lot from this class. The topic that helped me the most was stress management. I am always really stressed out and the tips we learned have really help me. The topic I really didn't learn anything from was probably wants and needs. I already knew the difference between them two.
