Make sure that the people that are chosen are at least 75% good with their instruments.

Make sure to find the right song and that everyone is equally involved in some way.

Maintain a good schedule and have at least 1 or 2 people outside of the band help you out.

Not only preform some songs but also write them.

The most important thing of all is to enjoy yourself on the stage. Also stay in harmony.
