When Parvana says bravely and nervously that she is here for her father, this part of the story reminds me of the time when I stand up for my cousin sister, my cousin was kind of bothered by some boys of her age but she could not deal with them, even though they were little then my age, I was still a little nervous.
Parvana and me were both brave in many ways.

When Mrs.Weera was encouraging it reminds me of a time when the teachers at ClayBurn Middle encourage me and my friend to run other then walk at the Terry Fox run, it was hard to run the whole time but the encouraging helped, and just like the teacher's encouraging helped, I think Mrs.Weera encouraging would help Parvana and her family.

When I was three I made a paper airplane and I thought it would fly very high like a real airplane, so I went to the park and I hoped and hoped that the airplane would fly high, and I thought I could do it.
Shauzia and me were both hopeful that she would go to France by boat, and the paper airplane would fly high like a real airplane.

When I babysit my neighbour's 5year old kid, he always disobey the rules and he didn't listen to me, and it was so annoying that I yelled at him but that even didn't work.
Both the Guards and me were annoyed by someone and we both couldn't stand them.

When I was 7, my cousin sister who is14 ordered me around, and she was so bossy in fact she ordered me to clean her messy room.
My cousin sister was bossy like Nooria and it was so annoying that I had to clean her room, and that would probably Parvana's feeling when she had to go to get food.
