WHAT IS A SNAKE?

Snakes are reptiles. They have scales, no arms or legs, and a log body. They are kind of like lizards.

Snake's have long body's they are 6 to 10 feet long . They are 3 inches tall.

What is a snake's life cycle?

A snake does not have live babies, it lays eggs. Soon the eggs hatch and a baby snake comes out. Then it grows to be an adult.

Snakes live in deserts, jungles, grasslands, and forests or rain forests. Some snakes also live in the water.

Snakes eat a lot of different things. What they eat depends on where they live. They can eat lizards, frogs, rabbits, mice, rats, and other rodents. Snakes swallow their food whole.
