• Avalon is a very homogenous nation
• Since we are adjacent to scandinavian countries, a lot of our residents are of nordic decent.
• The minorities we do have are Asians, pacific islanders, and even Native American citizens!

• We are located in the Scandinavian Peninsula
• Avalon is directly adjacent to Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland
• Our water sources come from the Baltic Sea and the Klarälven river

We the People

• Here in Avalon we invest in human and technological advancements and have built a foundation of science and knowledge. This is why our government is a technocracy.
• Technocracy is a form of oligarchy where decision-makers are selected based on technological knowledge.
• People in charge are called technocrats

Economic System

• Avalon is capitalistic.
• We believe that capitalism is the best economic system because the free market regulates better than the state.
• We want to give people freedom over their own business and assets.

Make Peace Not War

• Ever since the Avalon Nation of Tranquility act enacted, we have made a federal law stating Avalon can not invade any country.
• The only military service we have is cyber security. It is called Avalon Cyber Command. It controls cyberspace operations, hacks into enemy's data, and protects our data from enemies. We are allied with the Scandinavian Union.

• Since most of our residents are of Nordic decent, the main languages are Danish, Swedish, and Norwegian.
• Because of our rising Asian population, we also have some Japanese and mandarin Chinese speakers.
• There has also been minor influences of ethnic island languages.

• Avalon is not very religious because of the tradition of science rooted in our nation. However, everyone is free to believe in whatever they like without persecution.
• Religion has no influence whatsoever on our government.
• Although, some would say we are a somewhat spiritual nation, because of our ties to nature.

Beliefs

• One belief is the dreamcatcher. We believe that it can catch all nightmares and allow good dreams to come.
• A solar eclipse is a time where everything is at peace. As a nation with many links with nature, we believe that this is a time in which the sun and the moon are communicating.
• We also believe that albinos are all white because their dad is the moon.

Holidays

• We celebrate Christmas, Halloween
• Nature Day - Whch is a day where we come together for respect of nature.
• Humanism Day- Where people present positive attitudes on human experience, thought, and hopes.
• Sceince Day - Which is a day where people congregate to discuss theories and ideas.

Our National dish is suya; which is spiced beef.

The clothing style here is a very much preppy look. No matter the occasion, someone is likely to be wearing a scarf, sweater, or their favorite boat shoes.
