Brief Biography:
Jack London was born on January 12th, 1876 in San Francisco, California. He was raised in Oakland, California by his mom and stepfather due to his bilogical father abandoning him. When he was 14 he quit school to get away from poverty and to gain freedom. Later on he found his pasion for writing and by the age of 30 he got famous for a couple of his books like the “Call of the Wild” in 1903 and the “ White Fang” in 1906. Besides his talent for writing books he was also known for his personal behavior. He was loving, an elequent speaker, courageous, but also quite controversial leading him in the news quite often. During the 20th century, he became more public with activism, where he was able to express what he believes while writing. Sadly, he died in November 22, 1916, leaving behind a great legacy of one of the best authors of his time. As time goes on, generations are still motivated by his work and his character.
