The Educator Effectiveness Plan includes the Self-Review, Personal, Professional Goal, and Student Learning Objective.
The Self-Review helps teachers reflect on their instructional practice related to Danielson's Framework for Teaching. The SLO identifies student learning outcomes the teacher is planning for students. The PPG identifies a teacher's growth focus and steps for achieving the goal. These three are grounded in the Framework for Teaching.

"Evidence" is always a written statement that describes an "Artifact." The Evidence statement should be tagged to domain components.

There are links for Evidence statements within the SLO # the teacher is currently working on. The link to upload Artifacts related to SLO is at the very bottom of the workflow page.
The Teacher Practice workflow houses the Artifacts and Evidence statements related the teacher's PPG. uploaded into the Teacher Practice Workflow.

The Evidence box does not allow for a lot of text to be written. But once text is entered, select Add. The next screen should have a Tag button that has a drop down selection of the 22 domain components. Select the ones that align to the Evidence statement.

SLO: ARTIFACTS & Evidence

  • Baseline Assessments
  • Benchmark Assessments
  • Progress Monitoring Sample
  • Evidence statements aligns Artifact todomain components
  • Evidence of student progress toward goals
Here are a few examples of Artifacts that can be used to support an SLO.

Always put a label right on the Artifact so that it's purpose or function is clear to the evaluator.

The Evidence statement will refer to the Artifact by it's given title. Much like a curator or archivist, a teacher identifies and categorizes Artifacts and describes them with the aligned Evidence statements.

TEACHER PRACTICE> ARTIFACTS & EVIDENCE

  • Artifacts are related to PPG
  • Artifacts CAN and MAY demonstrate proficiency to more than one component
  • Title the Artifact: Unit Plan, Communication Log, Cohort Meeting Log
  • Only upload Artifacts that will be referenced to show proficiency
  • Select Save and Finish Later. Do NOT select "Submit" until the End of Cycle
Artifacts that illustrate teacher personal, professional growth are uploaded in the Teacher Practice workflow.
