UNIQUE FACTS

  • Farkas shares her love of charcoal artwork with many other contemporary artists such as, Leah Yerpe and Dave Hobrecht.
  • Although charcoal artwork is her favorite, Farkas does not like to limit herself and often experiments with other mediums.
  • Farkas finds her career therapeutic and fulfilling.
I occasionally turn my graphite, charcoal, coloured pencil drawings or digitally created works into mixed media paintings by seamlessly incorporating them on canvas with paints and textures. For an enhanced visual impact, I use a variety of textures, such as gels, glitters and gold leaves, as well as an assorted variety of metallic paraphernalia
